The Paid Promotion Weekly Wrap Up January 16, 2022
Welcome the new paid and free subscribers that have joined this week. I added $NNVC and $KTTA into the Paid Promotion Hall of Shame after going three months without a new paid promotion.
There were paid promotions in Flora Growth Corp $FLGC ($109.3M) and Genprex Inc $GNPX (108.0M) this week, which I covered for paid subscribers on Monday. There were followup promotions in $FLGC on Thursday and Friday. A total of $95,000 was spent during the week to promote $FLGC that I was able to find:
1/10/2022 Insider Financial $20,000 by TD Media LLC
1/10/2022 Jaks Fierce Investor $27,500 by TD Media LLC
1/13/2022 Traders News Source / Broad Street Alerts $22,500 - Undisclosed
1/13/2022 Ultimate Stock Alerts / Lion Stock Alerts $25,000 - Undisclosed
$MYNZ continues to trade very well closing up 50% and the winner for the week. Not far behind them was $LGIQ up 31.8%. A lot of duds behind these two with $GSPT closing down 50% for the week. They are followed by $MSYN down 30%, $URYL down 26%, $SYTA down 21.9%, $GRIL down 16.8%, $HOTH down 15%, $CRYBF down 14.4% and $BTCY continuing its spiral lower down 10.3% Pretty much the whole "paid promotion” basket was destroyed with the broad market selloff.
News and Filings:
$BMWY ($37.2M) filed their 10Q for quarter ending November 30, 2021. I noted they had $5,316 in cash and total assets on their balance sheet versus total liabilities of $646,267.
$SFET ($27.3M) announced they passed the 10,000 subscriber milestone for their newest consumer privacy solution.
$SPRC ($32.9M) announced they are exploring psychedelics as a possible avenue to expand its IP portfolio. I thought this was a rather bizarre “news” announcement and likely just fluff. In my opinion companies should avoid these types of news releases.
$MYNZ ($244.3M) appointed Michele Pedrocchi a former head of Roche Diagnostics Business Development to the Mainz Biomed strategic advisory board.
$CRYBF ($42.3M) announced a private placement for gross proceeds of $750,000. 37,750,000 units were sold at a price of $.20 per unit. They include one common share and a three year warrant at $.25
$LGIQ ($162.8M) announced a restructuring of their management team on January 13, 2022.
I do not have any new teasers in my inbox for next week likely due to the Monday trading holiday for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
