The Paid Promotion Weekly Wrap Up January 30, 2022
Welcome to the new paid and free subscribers that have joined this week. There were no new additions in the Paid Promotion Hall of Shame this week. I added a second chart, which shows the percentage returns on a weekly basis after the promotion was conducted.
There were three paid promotions out this week. Biotricity $BTCY had $80,000 in paid promotion spend on Monday and Tuesday through four different paid promoters. Kubient $KBNT had a solo paid promotion Wednesday. Star Alliance $STAL was promoted by two promoters.
The whole paid promotion group was rocked last week as the overall market continued to sell off and was somewhat saved with a bounce back day on Friday. Mainz Biomed $MYNZ led the losers down 44% after executing a secondary offering. $URYL closed down 42% for the week, $SVFD sold off after last weeks rally down 25%, $AUTO was off 19%, $USAU closed down 17%, $HOTH continues to get crushed down another 16%, and last week’s promotion in $DATS and $IMMX closed down 16% and 13% respectively. The paid promotions have been an excellent source of short idea generation especially as the broad markets roll over.
$GRIL and $STAL were the only stocks who closed up on the week.
News and Filings:
$BTCY announced they received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its Biotres Cardiac monitoring device.
$MYNZ closed their secondary offering of 1.725M shares at $15.00 per share for proceeds of $25,875,000.
$USAU issued a CEO update on their project advances.
$BSGM announced the issuance of a new US Patent for claims covering their Pure EP technology.
$PBIO announced a milestone for their Ultra Shear Technology: Production Scale System commissioned at Ohio State University to serve the food industry.
Teasers for tomorrow:
Teasers from two different promoters who will have new promotions out tomorrow morning at the bell. I am kind of curious who the company might be based on the information in the teaser.
