The top ten longest time to patent grant for the week. Jeffrey Mullen comes in first place with a total of 6,131 days from filing to issuance. The patent is titled “Systems and methods for location based games and employment of the same on location enabled devices”.
The top ten shortest time to patent grant for the week was between 95 and 120 days. Well done to the teams!
This might be the largest week for Blockchain issuances with 30 new patents granted. Advanced New Technologies which is the leader every week added 11 more to their count.
Electric Vehicle patents with also a big week with 11 new patent issuances.
Five new LiDAR related patents issued this week. One each to Didi, GM, Honda, Nio, and Waymo.
New Patent Litigation Filed:
Mediatek filed two patent cases in the Central District of California versus NXP Semiconductors $NXP on June 17, 2021. 11 patents were asserted in total across both cases.
A really light week for new patent litigation filed for cases that I will be tracking.
