The patent titled “Interactive digital media and advertising presentation platform”. It was granted after eight final and non-final rejections. It took the patent office five years to even look at the patent before the first non-final rejection came in!

VLSI a subsidiary of Fortress/Softbank lost their second trial versus Intel ($INTC) with the jury finding non-infringement. VLSI was trying to get $3.1B in damages. This is the 2nd trial out of three with VLSI prevailing in March 2021 scoring a $2.18B jury verdict.
Quarterhill ($QTRHF) announced they will release Q1 2021 results on May 6, 2021.
Xperi Holding ($XPER) announced they will release Q1 2021 results on May 5, 2021.
Interdigital ($IDCC) announced they have renewed their license agreement with Sharp. IDCC also announced they will release Q1 2021 results on May 6, 2021.

Velodyne Lidar USA ($VLDR) was issued a new child patent 10,983,218 “Multiple pixel scanning LIDAR”. The patent must have hundreds if not over a thousand prior art references cited during prosecution, indicating that this might be a patent worth further investigation to see how important it might be for the company’s future.
Tesla ($TSLA) was issued another solar roof patent continuing to build their patent portfolio. Patent # 10,985,688 titled “Sidelap interconnect for photovoltaic roofing modules”
